Two protestors injured by police in south Yemen

ADEN, Yemen, April 23 (Xinhua) -- At least two anti-government protesters were injured Saturday by the security forces in Yemen's southern port city of Aden, local official and witnesses said.
The event came as the security forces tried to open some blocked roads and to prevent the protesters from storming a police station building in al-Mansoura district, local security official told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The forces opened fire, leaving at least two protesters injured.
Cement barricades were set up along the main roads of Aden province to coincide with a civil disobedience call by some protesters and the separatist Southern Movement, making Aden paralyzed with malls, schools, and government institutions closed, according to witnesses.
